RESIDENTS are being invited to talk to council, police and housing bosses during a series of roadshows aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour in Charnwood.

The Charnwood Community Safety Partnership (CSP) will be visiting various locations in the Borough between now and the middle of September to listen to the view of communities.

Residents can voice any concerns to representatives from Charnwood Borough Council, Leicestershire Police, Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, local councillors plus other support agencies.

Councillor David Snartt, Charnwood Borough Council’s Cabinet member for Neighbourhood Services and Chairman of the CSP, said: “Customers are at the heart of everything we do in Charnwood and these roadshows are a chance for us to hear how we can better support neighbourhoods to improve safety in their communities.

“One of the Council’s aims is to help make Charnwood’s communities places to be safe and secure. This is part of that pledge and I would encourage as many people as possible to come along and have their say.”

Sergeant Paul Latham, from Loughborough Police, said: “We are delighted to take this opportunity to continue our work with Charnwood Borough Council, specifically with regard to the reduction and prevention of anti-social behaviour.

“If you have any concerns regarding anti-social behaviour I would encourage you to come along and learn more about how we can help.”
